A suspect entered a house in the 700 block of North Oakhurst Drive July 7, picked up and carried away the victim's purse. Loss: $535. Suspect(s) tried and failed to gain access to a locked storage container in the 100 block of South Reeves Drive at around 4 p.m. July 7. There was no loss. Suspect(s) removed louvers from a window in the 300 block of South Almont Drive, entered and removed prop- erty. Loss was $77. Suspect(s) entered a secured second floor with force somme between 6 p.m. July 8 and 3:30 p.m. July 10 in the 200 block of S Bever- ly Drive, used force to enter an office, cut ough drywall, entered sec- ond office and removed property. Loss was $60. Suspect(s) entered a residence in the 400 block of South Clark Street, removed property and left. Loss: unknown. Suspect(s) entered a rocked apartment in the 9800 block of Olympic Boulevard between 1 and 4 p.m. July 12, breaking and prying open a bedroom window and removed property. Loss: $1,520. Suspect(s) forced open a garage door in the 400 block of Smithwood Drive between 6 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. July 12 and removed property. Loss: $620. GRAND THEFT A suspect presented two checks for merchan- dise in the 300 block of N. Rodeo Drive between 5:46 p.m. July 1 and 11:30 a.m. July 11, then closed account. Loss: $3,124. A suspect generated a fraud- ulent due bill and directed a friend to obtain merchandise from the domestics depart- merit of a store in the ggO0 block of Wilshire Boulevard between 2:30 July 2 and 7:05 July 7. Loss was $563. Suspect was sutseque arrested. A suspect took a painting on display during a special everlt from 6:30 to 11 p.m. July 10 in the 200 block of North Rodeo Ddve. Loss was $10,000.
