i/i ' Ii' ii'i i i I eat Dianna Weiner +. Dianna's Dishes + Spring is definitely in the air and that means that it is-time for spring cleaning and eating out. After all, why mess up the kitchen? Raylene and Bruce Meyer took their daughter, Emily, to dinner at The Farm. Charlene and Vic Sands were spot- ted at Sprazzo. Kathy and Andy Gordon and Debbie and Morris Kessler were seat- ed at a nearby table in this charming bistro in Westwood. Judie and Mark Richards took their daughter, Marnie, and their friends, Alisa and Joe Simsoly, to a fabulous dinner on the patio at Asia de Cuba. Marnie was looking LA chic with new pink highlights in her hair a la Fred Segal Salon. Mark is the owner and designer of C'est Duo sportswear, which is featured in Vogue and on the cover of Mode Magazine. Long time Beverly Hills resident, Moira Chalom, took her sister, Geraldine Fitzpatrick, to Tsunami's, where they enjoyed the show and "river dancing" with their friends, Paulette and Sam Storm. Geraldine was visiting from Kinsale, Ireland. Paulette and Sam say that Geraldine was so full of life that they cannot wait until she returns for a repeat visit. Rochelle and Jeff Boren and Doreen and Marly Laffer had great fun at The Little Door on Third Street. Rochelle says that the food is always delicious, and it's a great place for people-watching. Linda and Ed Brown dined at Delmonico's with Rochelle and Dr. Leon Brooks. PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM Joy and Alan Joseph and Janice and Larry Weiner enjoyed an evening filled with great conversation at Pastina. LUNCH BUNCH Lauren Lind, Madeleine Schulsinger, and Maxine Moshay munched on turkey on baguettes while they schmoozed at Brasserie Des Artistes. When they are not lunching, Lauren and Madeleine are hard working real estate agents at Hilton and Hyland. Andy Popovici and Mike Siegel (BHHS Class of 1998) lunched al fresco at II Tramezzino. BIRTHDAY TEA Estelle Kandell got the royal treatment for her birthday. Her daughter, Toby Brooks took her to the Regent Beverly Wilshire for the Royal English Tea. Joining in the celebration were Estelle's granddaughters. Ellen Brooks and Megan Kandell, her daughter-in-law, Elena Estrin, Janet Thomas, Jackie Morse, and Beth Morse. Toby said that not only was the room gorgeous, the service and the food were impeccable! And a good time was had by all! BIRTHDAY GREETINGS Mitch Waldow celebrated his birthday at the delightful Reata restaurant with his wife, Ellen Lutwak, and his son, Ben. Seven year old Ben, a second grader at El Rodeo, was appropriately dressed in his cowboy shirt and hat. This evening was a double celebration because besides Mitch's birthday, the threesome were cel- ebrating Ben's school district win of the PTA's Reflection contest. Congratulations, Ben! THE PLAY'S THE THING The Beverly Hills Theatre Guild recently held a staged reading of "The Passage", a prize-winning play from their Julie Harris Playwright Award Competition. Author Donald Drake and his wife flew in from Philadelphia to attend the event and later enjoyed dining at Da Vinci with Guild President, Janet Salter, and Donor, Max Salter. Also join- ing them was Dr. Naiman from Palo Alto, and Guild Board members, Patricia and Sanford Mock. Patricia is Vice President of Theater Programs. DI SPY Angeline, dressed in leopard, was "spotted" at Factor's. Peter Falk was din- ing on sushi at Kippan. Andrew Dice Clay lunched at the Grand Lux Caf6 in the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.
