FASHION EXOTIC WRAPS It's time to wrap yourself up in something other than your favorite blanket for this season. Wrap up your body in this new style with any clothing item that suites your fancy. We are seeing the best-known stars wrapped up in our favorite design- er's ensembles. Wrap skins, tops and dresses are the buzz in many a magazines and runways for this season. Designers including, Versace, Gucci, Norma Kamali and many more to come are sporting their interpretation of the sexiest wrap clothing items. Portia de Rossi, from the popular show Ally McBeal was seen wear- ing a bright red long sleeve Gucci work shirt that only adds to her cute physique. She tucks in her wrapped shirt with black slacks and a pair of red boots. Versace is also showing wrap shirts made out the same fabric and print that Jennifer Lopez was seen flaunting at the Grammy's. Actress Lauren Holly recently tied herself up in one of Versace's chiffon wrap shirts with a pair of leather pants. Mary J, Blige was flanked out in Norma Kamali's metallic gold tank at the recent Soul Train Awards. Her tank was worn with a matching metallic skirt and a pair of stiletto boots. Donna Karen is contributing to this fad with a blue-sky printed wrap LIFESTYLE? dress that is perfect for our upcoming summer season. The best part about this wrapped up trend is that. it can be worn when- ever you please. Wrap skirts are great for a warm day, and wrap tops are a wonderful way to dress up an evening outfit. And a wrap sweater by Rebecca Danenberg is a great way to warm you up on a chilly night. Another big name designer who is known for her wrap dresses is Diane Von Furstenburg. She has been making wrap dresses even before this fad blew up in the fashion arena. Her basic dress is to the knees and can be found in solid colors along with various prints. One can find Von Ferstenburg's wraps at Fred Segal, Macy's and Barney's. And as with most any trend you can make your own wrap skirt that is all about originality. All you have to do is take a piece of rectangle shaped fabric, in a great print and wrap away. Wear a plain tank or T-shirt and a pair of sandals and you are ready for a day of style. And for a cute little gift that goes right along with this trend is a wrap skirt by a designer named Maltesta. This skirt is made of Indian fabric with beaded detailing and is sold in a matching printed bag. One can pick this great gift item up at Fred Segal Flair in Santa Monica. So let yourself go with this fad and get wrapped for this season. Jennifer Rebbert Renew gourfiditious business statement at the lowest cost!
